Being on a visit at Signal Iduna Park, Bayern tried to get 3 points and get back on the top of German Bundesliga. No doubt it was a central match of the week. Leipzig had previously won the game against Leverkusen and remained on the top. Bayern could get equal in case it would have got three points in away game with Borussia. But they failed and are now 3 points behind Leipzig in the league standings.

The start of the game was shocking for Ancelotti`s team. They conceded a goal on 10` minute of the game. Getze made a cross from the wing in the penalty spot where Aubameyang was the first to strike a goal. Until the end of the first half Tuchel`s team dominated.

In the second half Bayern improved their game. Several brilliant chances had Lewandowski, Xabi Alonso, and Ribery, but they failed to score a goal. Despite the heavy pressure on Tuchel`s team in the second half, Bayern lost the game.

Match stat showed, that Bayern had heavy advantage in possession (67%), shots (18 against 11 in Borussia) and corners (9 against 3), but Borussia was lucky to win and move to third place with only 3 points behind Bayern.
